POWERBUILDER
9.0 and Beyond!
Sybase PowerBuilder
8.0 made Web, Client-Server, and Distributed application development much
easier and faster, enabling PowerBuilder developers to continue creating
new and enhancing existing programs.
Bigger and better things
are in store for PowerBuilder in the next release and for future releases.
With even more open, more productive, and more extensible features, future
PowerBuilder capabilities will meet many of your existing and new application
development requirements.
In addition to supporting
traditional client-server development, Sybase PowerBuilder's strategy
going forward will include significant support for both the .Net and J2EE
environments. The first phase will be XML, Web Services, and 3rd party
application server support, all available in PowerBuilder 9.0. More exciting
capabilities will be in future product releases that will provide tighter
integration into both J2EE and .Net. Stay tuned for more information about
the major initiatives Sybase PowerBuilder will be making in these areas.
For now, you can check
